7th Annual Chili Cook Off!

Do you make a mean chili? Join us in the 7th Annual Chili Cook Off at the Willow Grove VFW and show us your stuff! The Chili Cook Off will be a fundraiser to help the Willow Grove Community Services, Inc., in conjunction with the Willow Grove VFW, fund the New veterans Monument Project in War Memorial Park.

This event will take place tentativley on Saturday, November 17th 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00PM with awards to follow. Entry fee is $100.00 per team and you must supply 2 gallons of your chili. A $200.00 Grand Prize and two honorable menton prizes of cooking gift baskets will be awarded to the winners chosen by popular vote ballots. Please note space is limited. We will also be having a raffle during the Cook Off and would request that if you are unable to enter, you might consider donating an item or gift certificate for the event.

What if you just like to eat chili? Tickets to the 7th Annual Chili Cook Off are available to the public for just $10.00. Your admission fee lets you try all of the different entries and a ballot so you can vote for your favorite chili. See any New Monument Committee person or a bartender for tickets.

Specifics:
  
Each team must consist of at least 2 people. These people will be manning your station and serving your chili during the event. We will provide cups and spoons for you to serve your chili.
v We encourage businesses and individuals to decorate their station for a more festive atmosphere!
Each team must arrive no later than 3:00PM the day of the event.
Awards and raffles will begin at 7:00PM the day of the event.

Each team's station will have a sign listing information about their chili. Items marked with an asterisk (*) will be on the sign. Please provide the information as you would like it listed on the sign. Ingredient list MUST be provided. Quantities of ingredients used are not required, but we must supply ingredients for those who may have food allergies.
