Halloween Program

My name is Robert E. Murphy, Member of Willow Grove VFW Post 3612, Director of Willow Grove Community Services and Chairman of the children's "Halloween Treat Program". We would like to respectfully solicit support from the community for this annual program.The Willow Grove VFW and Willow Grove Community Services, in conjunction with the Upper Moreland Police Department will again be running this program for the children in our community on Wednesday October 31st, 2007.

The Police Officers on patrol that evening will be handing out individual bags printed by the VFW, which contain Halloween goodies from the local merchants and any additional donations received from this solicitation.This will enable the children in our community to learn that Police Officers are their friends while also receiving a bag containing various treats that their parents will not have to worry about. If possible we would like to ask you to donate 1,200 goodies, trinkets, coupons, or whatever your company is able to furnish.Please advise me of your intentions prior to October 24, 2007; Home (215) 886-6498 or Post (215) 659-3782.

If you so desire I can come to your place of business to pick up the "Halloween Treats", you can drop them off at the post home, or mail them to 305 W. Moreland Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
